We offer a sports insurance for personal accidents and accountability from the association. The policy is closed with Ethias. Subscription to the policy however is reserved to members. You transfer the contribution to the account of the association, which will add your name to its list of ensured. Two formulas are available: limited coverage and very extended coverage. The extended coverage can be interesting for self-employed earners, because it covers more loss of income. This sport insurance is however, for both the formulas, limited to the activities of the association. It does not cover the risks when a practitioner trains in a different club or association on his own initiative.
An individual sports insurance, called "Sporting for All", is also possible. This is an insurance on your own account. Additional information can be found here. You can choose for a "default" or decide on your own ensured amount. This formula is interesting for practitioners who regularly train with several associations, for instance because of changing working hours, friendship, living in a border area or interest. The policy will be signed and maintained by the practitioner himself, like a car insurance. This insurance applies generally: it is not only valid for the practiced discipline, but for an entire category.
Of course you can insure yourself with an insurance company on your own against accountability, hospitalization fees or loss of income (for example for self-imployed earners).
